Shed collecter

About this time of year Bucks start shedding their antlers. As you can see in this picture this little buck has dropped one side of his. So I came up with a way to collect them.

I built this trough feeder yesterday and if you will notice there are 2 strings around the four legs.
This is so the bucks will hang their antlers in the strings when they try and eat the corn. We will just have to see if it works. Hopefully The sheds will be laying there when I go and check it.

There is still alot of deer activity in this area. They will stay around as long as there is food. I put 100 pounds of corn in it.

There are 5 bucks in this one picture so hopefully I'll get all of their sheds.

You don't see this very often but they will fight on their hind legs.

Wall Mounts

These are our mounts that we have hanging in our office from years past. The smartest person in the world could not calculate the number of hours we have spent in the woods, not to mention the money we have spent, to get these, so enjoy.

This is the 7 point that Harrison and Josh killed in 1997.
This a pic of my first 8 point. I killed him in Oaky woods outside of Perry, Ga. in 2003. He weighed 157 pounds and I dragged him- by my self- about 900 yards. It took 2 hours.

This deer we got a picture of on the trail camera and a few weeks later Harrison killed him in Camden County Ga. in 2005.

This deer is one Harrison killed in Oaky woods in 2005.

This is the nine point I killed in Macintosh Co. in 2007. I thought he was a 4 or 6 point when I shot him.
This is the deer Harrison shot in October of 2008 in Indiana. It was the last evening of the hunt and right at dark.

I just got my deer back from Sears Taxidermy today. I killed this one in Macon, Missouri in November of 2008.
